Yunus Emre lived 800 years ago in Anatolia. However, he couldn’t be forgotten through ages because he was the poet of all eges and our age as well. The article studies some functions of dreams as a literary device and analyzes the symbols used in the dreams selected from the lyrical poem “Ak Moor” by Suyunbai Eraliev. Dream utilisation in literary works of art is a creative manoeuvre purpose and idea of which can be understood through the symbols that are worth interpreting.
